This entrance is an experiment of reverse engineer. Or of learning perhaps based on problems.
This idea part of Tom Miller, an engineer dedicated to teaching and that has a blog on techniques of study applied to students of technical sciences.
Tecnique calls it to review learning. I translate it as technical of inverse study. It consists of studying from real problems. Problems of physics, chemistry and mathematics. The equivalent for a predoctor, pre-nurse, pre-physiotherapist, is the clinical case.
It would be applied to students of advanced courses especially, where clinical subjects already exist. Also to a basic subjects as Statistic, Biochemistry and Medical Physics in which you must be examined with practical exerciseses.

This is what Tom Miller to the students of Engineering of all type proposes: computer science, industrialist, etc.
The attention has called me because now that I am specialistic it makes me very heavy study sequentially, as did in the Faculty.

I have a flaming book of vertigos with clinical direction that I like much. Nevertheless, it begins as almost all the books: anatomical, physiological review, semiotics, exploration¦ I do not hold more than 1 hour reading from the home.
Not to bore to me, I am studying that book from my own clinical cases.
When study thus, absorbs so much to me the study that I can spend 2 or 3 hours reflecting on different concepts that not yet I dominate, and thus I am learning. It is logical, real the medical life is thus.
TO STUDY CLINICAL CASES? NEITHER TO SPEAK, OR I FINISHED THE PRACTICES, I DO NOT HAVE TIME FOR THAT! THIS MY REAL LIFE
Perhaps you are right. As already there am saying to you, this post is an experiment. I am going to study a subject of Rheumatology with a clinical case and to verify if it can work for a student.
How many examinations you have to confront when fourth month period finishes to the semester/? When the examinations approach, you must study several subjects simultaneously. You need much perseverance and force will. Perhaps if you begin to study one of the subjects with clinical cases much more it is entertained and it facilitates your life without risking your notes¦
I am going to try with the following case, of the Dra. Ana Bel©n Cid S¡nchez, Doctor of family of Granada, published in portalesmedicos.com. One is a disease of Churg-Strauss.
It does not matter that they give the diagnosis us from the home! It interests to me to use each aspect of the case to understand what is the Churg-Strauss and how it is distinguished of another vasculitis.
As otorrino I know what is a vasculitis, but nonmemory the general classification; yes that I know that it can produce nasal manifestations; and nonmemory more. That is to say, I am right now as any student who has gone to the classes, or who has happened through the practices, but she has not begun to study in serious the Rheumatology.
